Last day of swim lessons

Swim lessons this summer were very productive.  Logan can now swim across the pool on his own.  He also learned to take breaths as he’s swimming.  He loves to dive to retrieve objects in the shallow end of the pool.  Logan has really improved dramatically as he wasn’t able to swim much at all in May.

Ryan has also improved a lot.  I didn’t have any expectations of him learning to swim on his own at 2.  Parent/tot classes, in my opinion, are more for getting them used to the water and exploring than learning freestyle and backstroke.  But at the end of this summer, Ryan jumps off the diving board and goes under water by himself.  He is fearless.

The photos show you a couple of their favorite parts of swim lessons:  peeking through the tinted class of the employee lounge to wave to the instructors and checking out the lockers (that happened to be filled with a think layer of dirt).

If swim lessons are over, does that mean the weather has to cool off a little?
