GF cheese crackers
I have a recipe for cheese crackers that I have wanted to try for at least a month now. Finally, today was the day. I had visions of cute little squares lightly sprinkled with salt, looking a lot like a Cheez-it. Alas, it was not meant to be. The dough was so wet and sticky, I couldn’t roll it out. It held on to the rolling pin and wouldn’t let go. I opted to roll out little balls and flatten them. Ryan was very interested and wanted to help. I gave him a little dough and he squished and rubbed into the countertop then wiped it on the floor. Nice, huh? Once out of the oven, Ryan thought they were cookies and wanted to eat them. He seemed to like them. But a big thumbs down, in my book. I really hope I did something wrong because I can’t believe this final result came from a published recipe. Oh, and I forgot the salt sprinkled on top- not that it would have made a difference to me. Now to see what Jason thinks when he gets home…
