My photography journal

My class ended last week. Of course, I got an A. Yea! I am planning to continue my blog because it was a lot of fun and it keeps me practicing photography. I learned a lot in this class but there is still so much more to learn. So I am taking Digital Photography 2 in the fall. I am so excited for it. Now to learn Photoshop this summer...

I am in the first week of a semester long digital photography class. My instructor has assigned a daily visual journal that requires me to take a photograph a day. ONLY ONE??? Once I have the camera out, I can't imagine I will end up with just one photograph. I am sure Logan and Ryan will star in many of my shots. Maybe an occasional cookie shot. I see this project being a documentation of daily life but sometimes creativity has a way of pushing its way in.

This is also my first blog. Look at all the new things I am learning! If you can't tell, I am very excited for this project. I will choose the best (or at least my favorite) photograph from each day to post here.

Scissors

After lunch, we pulled out the basic art supplies and created masterpieces. Logan practiced shapes and loved the zig zag scissors. Ryan was so excited to use real scissors that actually cut. I LOVE his little tongue sticking out as he concentrates. Moments like this are the some of the best parts of being home with my boys.
