Happy Independance Day!

We had an extremely lazy day.  It was perfect.  It doesn’t happen often but we stayed home all day and just hung out.  While the boys were dressed, I had pj’s on until we left for dinner around 6:30pm.  Like I said, it doesn’t happen often (if ever) but I loved it.  After a quick dinner, we drove to see fireworks.  We ended up parked on the side of the road and watched from a distance.  Ryan was still talking about last night’s fireworks- they were scary and noisy.  Tonight, we were the perfect distance away to see and hear them but it wasn’t too loud.  The flash was a little obnoxious in the dark so I didn’t get the best expressions.  But I had to document the night.

“I’m proud to be an American
where at least I know I’m free,
And I won’t forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today,
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.”
