My photography journal

My class ended last week. Of course, I got an A. Yea! I am planning to continue my blog because it was a lot of fun and it keeps me practicing photography. I learned a lot in this class but there is still so much more to learn. So I am taking Digital Photography 2 in the fall. I am so excited for it. Now to learn Photoshop this summer...

I am in the first week of a semester long digital photography class. My instructor has assigned a daily visual journal that requires me to take a photograph a day. ONLY ONE??? Once I have the camera out, I can't imagine I will end up with just one photograph. I am sure Logan and Ryan will star in many of my shots. Maybe an occasional cookie shot. I see this project being a documentation of daily life but sometimes creativity has a way of pushing its way in.

This is also my first blog. Look at all the new things I am learning! If you can't tell, I am very excited for this project. I will choose the best (or at least my favorite) photograph from each day to post here.

Over the weekend, we went to Missy and Owen’s house for dinner and swimming. The dads hadn’t met so it was the perfect evening for them to get to know wach other a little. The boys had a great time swimming and playing in the water.

As I mentioned, I have been sewing lately. Ryan’s banana hat and Logan’s flame hat were my first “creations”.
