My photography journal

My class ended last week. Of course, I got an A. Yea! I am planning to continue my blog because it was a lot of fun and it keeps me practicing photography. I learned a lot in this class but there is still so much more to learn. So I am taking Digital Photography 2 in the fall. I am so excited for it. Now to learn Photoshop this summer...

I am in the first week of a semester long digital photography class. My instructor has assigned a daily visual journal that requires me to take a photograph a day. ONLY ONE??? Once I have the camera out, I can't imagine I will end up with just one photograph. I am sure Logan and Ryan will star in many of my shots. Maybe an occasional cookie shot. I see this project being a documentation of daily life but sometimes creativity has a way of pushing its way in.

This is also my first blog. Look at all the new things I am learning! If you can't tell, I am very excited for this project. I will choose the best (or at least my favorite) photograph from each day to post here.

Slacker

It was my intention to continue posting a photo a day on this site. But life seems to be interfering and priorities shifting. Lately, I have been spending time sewing reversible sun hats for the kids in my life. Now that I am thinking about it, that would probably be a good picture… I have also had my nephews (5 & 7 yo) this week. Keeping track of four seems to take up the rest of my attention usually spent on my camera. Needless to say I haven’t had any extra time or energy either. We have been having a lot of fun so there have been many good photo ops, just no camera.

So my new goal for the week it to find a balance and continue taking photographs. Stay tuned to see how I do…
